Jaggers Trade Centre Msasa

Award-winning US musician Mary J Blige will on Saturday evening perform at a one off live show in Zimbabwe at Jaggers Warehouse in Msasa, Harare. She will be backed by urban groovers, Cindy and Nox. Harare’s finest DJs T-Bass, P-styles and DJ Storm will be on the decks.

City Sports Centre

The City Sports Centre will end the year in style on Friday night with the Shut Down 2010 gig. “The Big Four”, Oliver “Tuku” Mtukudzi, Tongai “Dhewa” Moyo, Sulumani ‘Sulu’ Chimbetu and Alick“Chesopower” Macheso will take chances on stage to justify their “Big Four” status.

Megga 1 (Pamahuswa)

The open-air joint which is in Graniteside will on saturday afternoon give a Megga 1’s Christmas present to Zimbabweans by hosting Slizer from Botswana who will be backed by Mingo and Kapfupi.

Stars Studio

Maddunit International Promotions will on Saturday evening host Jah Hanief’s Welcome Party at Stars Studio located at Rainbow Hotel. DJs Sadiq, D-Nosh and L-Roy will be on the decks.

Book Café

Friday night the Book Café will host Macintosh – Mbira by “The Peacemaker” followed by Nyamasvisva neMawaungira Enharira – mbira magic from Harare’s legendary mbira ensemble. Saturday the Youth Development and Aids Trust will present Khaya Lami Series I, featuring Shupy, Trevor Dongo, Kudzi, Talent and Nobert.

The Mannenberg

The Mannenberg will on Friday night present Victor Kunonga with timeless originals from the album Hatinete. Saturday there will be a Mashoko Film Screening. This will be followed by Mashoko — The Spoken Word Event. Saturday, Transit Crew the reggae masters back from the King Sounds shows, will take to the stage.

Red Foxx

Red Foxx, the home of dancehall and Rastafarians, in Greendale, will on Friday night host a Smirnoff Spin party featuring Mic Inity and DJs Ash Styles, Rebel Salute and Nivek on the decks.

Lake Chivero Recreational Park (Kwa Hunyani)

The recreational park which is located 32km south-west of Harare along the shores of Lake Chivero will on Saturday host a reunion party for Diasporans and those currently living in Zimbabwe.

Fusion Café Bar

The club which is at Borrowdale Racecourse will on Friday night host a Pink Friday party with DJ T-Bass. The party is a build-up to the Nuvo sparkling liqueur event to be held on New Year’s Eve.
