South Africa-based urban groover Enock Guni – popularly known as Nox – will launch his latest album, Zim’s Finest: Tisu Tine Yese on October 1 at Chez Ntemba International Club in Pretoria.
The 13-track album is the urban groover’s sixth. It includes tracks Ini Ndaba, Andipengesa and Chigutiro Mai Mwana.
“One of my tracks is a reggae duet with Tererai Mugwadi, which I think will be popular among reggae and dancehall artistes as I have featured one of the world’s greatest reggae artistes Morgan Heritage,” said Guni.
He said other musicians featured on the album are Trevor Dongo, ExQ, Maskiri, Leonard Mapfumo and United Kingdom-based award winning artiste Jusa Dementor.
He said the album also contains his popular hit Wandinoda, which was included in the first ever African urban contemporary compilation album and is being marketed by Sony Music Africa.
He said the first single he released from this album was Tanakira, which was recently approved on international television channels O, Trace and MTV Base.
Guni is a marketing management graduate from the Midlands State University currently working for a training and recruitment company in Midrand.
