Chibuku Road to Fame contest is run by the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ) and Delta Beverages.

NACZ Manicaland provincial manager Jonah Muchayi told NewsDay they were expecting the competition to be tough, adding that they wanted to send a competitive provincial representative to the national finals.

“We want to send a competitive group that will represent our province well at the national finals,” Muchayi said.

“We have invited renowned artistes in the province in the form of Hosiah Chipanga, Juicer Mpostori and Blessing Shumba, among others, to grace the contest to make it an exciting event. We are inviting people to come and witness emerging talent in Manicaland at the event.”
