The album — the 23rd in his long-running music career — follows Zvemberi Makasa, which was recorded in 2013. The Denda Brothers frontman told NewsDay yesterday that he has recorded six songs and his team was happy with the final product.
“We were in the studio and what I can say is that we have done the recordings and we are now waiting for its official release. If all goes well, we will launch the album at the end of this month,” he said.
The album includes songs such as Dhimba, Sahwira, Inguva and Vechidzimai.
“The songs talk about social issues and reflect what happens in our day-to-day lives,” said Ndebele.
He said, he was still holding successful shows throughout the country and had since started playing some of the new songs on the forthcoming albums, which have proved to be popular with fans.
