ManLuckerz to perform at Swedish Peace Festival

The Peace Festival will be held at Fisksatra Kyrkan in Stockholm, Sweden.

SWEDEN-BASED award-winning musician, Luckson Chikutu, affectionately known as ManLuckerz, will tomorrow perform at the Fisksatra Peace Festival in the Scandinavian country.

This is the first time for the Gutu-born musician to perform at the much-hyped festival that will be graced by scores of internationally-acclaimed musicians and thousands of music  

lovers.

The Peace Festival will be held at Fisksatra Kyrkan in Stockholm, Sweden.

Speaking from his base in Uppsala, ManLuckerz, who leads the Zim-Traditional Unity band, said he was delighted to be one of the artistes to perform at the festival.

“Sharing my culture makes me joyful. It’s also exciting since I will be performing on a platform among individuals from different cultures. Representing my nation is also thrilling, I love it,” he said.

“The organisers said they heard of the Zim-Traditional Unity band from someone. This shows our abilities are being recognised here. We will definitely deliver.”

The Zim-Traditional Unity Band comprises members from different nationalities, including Mozambique and Sweden.

He has made great strides in promoting Zimbabwean music in Sweden and Europe.

He is also a storyteller and an author.
