HIGHLANDERS have bolstered their technical department ahead of the new Premier Soccer League (PSL) season after announcing the return of clun legend Madinda Ndlovu.

The 57-year-old has been appointed  assistant coach to Portuguese Baltemar Jose De Oliveira Brito in addition to being the club’s director of junior development.

Bosso confirmed the development on their official Facebook page.

“We are pleased to announce the return of coach Madinda Ndlovu who joins the club as a first team assistant coach and director of Junior Development. We wish him all the best in executing his duties at the club,” the club said.

Highlanders however did not clarify the status of Brito’s other two assistants Antonio Torres and Joel Luphahla.

The duo ended last season not sitting on the bench after they were barred due to insufficient coaching credentials.

Zifa requires PSL coaches to possess the Caf A badge.

Ndlovu’s return is however expected to provide a big boost to Bosso’s technical department.

He is not new to the club’s technical structures and left the club in 2019 for greener pastures in Botswana where he had a short stint with Gaborone United and left the club due to ill-health.
