Anymore Zvitsva
Suspected Guruve serial killer Anymore Zvitsva has been jailed for 89 years on charges that include rape, attempted murder and robbery following his conviction by a Harare magistrate.
Zvitsva was recently convicted of 10 counts of rape, attempted murder, and robbery following a string of violent crimes in the Guruve area of Mashonaland Central.
He is still facing trial at the High Court on numerous counts of murder in the province.
Zvitsva’s arrest brought some relief to the Guruve community, though questions remain among residents regarding potential accomplices and his motives.
