ZIMBABWE set to host the inaugural High Profile Legal Excellence Awards on December 20th at the Rainbow Towers Hotel in Harare. The ceremony, organized by All National Excellence Enterprise, will honour outstanding contributions within the legal field and from its key allies in medicine and business.
The awards aim to recognize the broader ecosystem that supports the rule of law and ethical standards. Categories include Legal Professional of the Year, Doctor Supporting the Legal System, and Business Partnering with the Legal Community. Criteria for non-legal nominees are strict, with medical doctors required to have spotless ethical records and corporations assessed on sustained legal compliance and integrity.
Christopher Samkange, Director of the organizing enterprise, stated the event celebrates the unsung pillars of a just society. "This is about celebrating the unsung heroes and pillars that support a just society," said Samkange. "Our mission is to acknowledge the symbiotic relationship between law, ethical business, and principled medicine in building a safe and prosperous Zimbabwe."
He emphasized the goal is to acknowledge the essential relationship between law, ethical business, and principled medicine in national development. "We seek to recognize doctors who are paragons of their oath and businesses that are engines of growth, not through shortcuts, but through unwavering integrity," Samkange stated.
The gala will serve as a pre-Christmas celebration for the professional community, featuring a formal dinner and performances. The organizers have opened nominations to the public, calling on businesses, medical professionals, and citizens to submit individuals and organizations deserving of recognition. "We urge the business community, medical professionals, and the public to put forward those individuals and organizations they believe have made exceptional contributions to the legal landscape and ethical fabric of our nation," Samkange added.
