Sweden-BASED multi-talented artiste Luckson Chikutu, popularly known as ManLuckerz, is set to launch his eighth album, Nhinhi, on February 26.

The six-track album will be released online and carries strong social commentary, with a particular focus on love, understanding and shared values.

According to ManLuckerz, Nhinhi explores themes of  unity, culture and moral consciousness.

"The album Nhinhi talks of love, understanding, culture, customs to keep and cherish and bad behaviours to avoid,” ManLuckerz said.

"We are individuals with diverse personalities and lifestyles. However, for us to be the centre of harmony filled with love and affection, we need to keep advising each other."

The musician said preparations for the album launch were underway.

Tracks on the album include Barbie, Chinyaride, Nhinhi, Hama, Gara Ndichauya and Vhura Door.

The project was recorded at PaBeat Studios in Harare under the production of Tapiwa Maselo  Jera.

Nhinhi adds to ManLuckerz’s growing discography, which includes Macharangwanda, Pandiri, Madhinga, Gutu, My Roots, Baba NaMai Molly, Ndundu-Madhaiza and Rongeka.

Born in Gutu, ManLuckerz has built a strong following across Europe, where he is also recognised for poetry, storytelling and theatre work.
