Through Chibuku Road to Fame, Afro-fusion has increasingly become popular and regionalised a culture of enjoyment through dress and music and above all, has remained a platform that has relentlessly championed the celebration of Zimbabwe and African cultural diversity.

Irimayi Muzorewa, the marketing director for Delta Corporation, said the beverage maker was involved, through its principal subsidiary Delta Beverages, in the brewing of lager and traditional beer and the bottling of soft drinks under licence from the Coca-Cola Company.

Music competitions such as the Chibuku Road to Fame National Finals play a pivotal role in nurturing and shaping musical talent across Zimbabwe.

These platforms provide emerging artistes with exposure and mentorship, and the opportunity to compete at national level brings experiences that build confidence, stage presence and innovation.

By offering recording contracts and financial rewards, the competition not only celebrates raw talent, but also creates tangible career-launching avenues for young musicians, many of whom go on to become household names.
