Last year, Splash Paints, in partnership with a local promoter, brought in one of the tallest men in the world, Billal Hyder, from Pakistan for the 2015 edition of Harare Agricultural Show.

A sensational look-alike of British comedian Rowan Atkinson, popularly known as Mr Bean in the popular British sitcom of the same name, Mr Pak Bean will touch down at Harare International Airport today ahead of the comedy show dubbed Splash Comedy Night.

At the show, Mr Pak Bean will share the stage with local award-winning comedian Doc Vikela and Simba The Comic King.

Speaking to NewsDay, the concert spokesperson, Agrippa Juma said Mr Pak Bean’s first public appearance would be at their stand at Harare Agricultural Show a day after his arrival.

“As we want to promote our brand through laughter, we are proud to be bringing to Zimbabwe, for the first time ever, hilarious comedian, Mr Pak Bean. Before his maiden show on September 3, he will share moments of laughter with local comedy lovers at Splash Paints and Plastic Manufacturer’s stand at Harare Agricultural Show,” he said.

“The first 1 000 people will receive Splash caps at the comedy show that will also see several people getting freebies such as Mr Bean Dolls, Splash Paint and Plastic products and flash drives.”

Juma said they had organised a schedule of events that would ensure thousands of Zimbabweans across the country get a chance to mix and mingle with the comedian.

“We have organised several promotions at all Bhola Hardware branches, where some lucky Bhola customers will win tickets to have dinner with the comedian at a private venue,” he said.

Juma said Splash Paint and Plastic is a Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (Comesa) certified company, which offers a diverse range of high quality plastic and paint products to Zimbabwe and the region primarily to retailers and other wholesalers.

“Splash Paint and Plastic products are made in Zimbabwe to meet the highest quality standards. We have several other retailers that are also taking part in the Splash Paint promotions currently running across the nation,” he said.

“Splash Plastic products are re-usable and recyclable, thus, leading to very low material waste. Focusing on research and innovation has always been the main focus of Splash Plastic. This has resulted in better and more durable products for clients, an extensive range for various requirements, products warranty period, competitive pricing of all products quality policy and culture that puts customer requirements at the forefront.”
