The Insurance Institute of Zimbabwe (IIZ) is set to host its 2026 Annual Fundraising Golf Tournament at Chapman Golf Club tomorrow,
The proceeds from the event are earmarked for programmes aimed at developing local insurance talent and advancing professional learning within the industry.
The institute said the event would support initiatives that promote education and professional growth among insurance practitioners.
"Their participation contributes to the development of local insurance talent and supports initiatives that promote learning, professional growth, and excellence within our profession," IIZ in a social media post.
The institute has already unveiled the teams that will take part in the tournament, with organisations from across the insurance sector confirming their participation in the fundraising event.
According to the IIZ, the tournament has attracted broad support from industry players who have come together not only for competition on the golf course but also to contribute towards a cause that will have a lasting impact on the profession.
"Representing organisations from across the insurance industry, these teams have come together in support of a cause that extends far beyond the fairways."
The institute stressed that the event's ultimate objective is to strengthen the future of the insurance sector through investment in human capital.
