Agama dedicates 1 point to Captain Balakasi’s son

Tinashe Balakasi’s son Craig died early Sunday morning.

HARARE, Apr. 20 (NewsDay Live) – NEWLY promoted Castle Lager Premier Soccer League side Agama FC has dedicated one point they earned against Simba Bhora to their late captain Tinashe Balakasi’s son who died early Sunday morning.

Agama drew 2-2 against Simba Bhora at match played at Wadzanayi stadium in Shamva.

In a statement Agama FC said it was deeply saddened by the passing of Craig.

“As a team, we stand together with our captain, and this point is a symbol of our unity, strength, and support for him.

“To us, this is not just a point gained, but a reflection of the fighting spirit, resilience, and character shown by the players on the pitch. We deeply cherish their commitment and determination under such emotional circumstances.

In the next match Agama said it will shift focus to their next assignment Ngezi Platinum on Saturday.

On the log Agama is in 17th position with 2 points, two draws and four loses.
