The film is about a young woman Maria, who gets into a spiritual realm while praying and she meets a lot of challenges. But an angel comes to her during her hard times and tells her about what is happening before warning her to leave the realm before sunset.

Maria fights her way out and meets the commander-in-chief of holy fighters who rescues her from ruthless bush men before helping her return to the physical world.

Scriptwriter, Willard Magombedza said he was inspired by his spiritual father’s teachings before crafting the story.

“I was inspired by the teachings of my spiritual father and thought I should also preach through film,” he said.

Magombedza said the motive behind the film series was to make people understand how the physical world was connected to the spiritual world and show the importance of prayer.

“The idea behind this first series is to let people know how the physical world is connected with the spiritual one and also show the importance of prayer and its impact in the spiritual realm,” he said.

Rachael Maketa is the main character who plays Maria while Mina Chivasa plays the witch. Alpha Ngonie Gatsi features as the guardian angel and Tatenda Mukariri plays the deadly bush man.
