Scores of people thronged the venue to witness the event which was also graced by musician Sebastian Magacha and Shower Power.

Some of the tracks on the album include Ndimambo, Mukatuma, the title track Psalms 92, As I Pray and Wonderful King.

International Praise and Worship Pastor in ZAOGA Forward in Faith, Caroline Mujokoro, applauded the effort by the choir, describing the album as a great effort by serious, committed as well as dedicated people.

“This day marks a tremendous breakthrough for us as children in ZAOGA to be able to record such an album. It was not by our wisdom, but by God’s grace,” said Mujokoro.

“As a drive from our father, Ezekiel Guti, we decided to bring out praise and bring strong hold through music as the Bible says when praises go up, the glory of God comes down.

“This is the aspiration we have. As we will be singing, the glory of God will come down and the needs and desire for people will be met. This is just the beginning as we look forward to more projects.”

Speaking at the same occasion, the district pastor Alexander Takawira said: “We have desired for years that the ZAOGA BCCI put something on record.

“Although it took time, not because of lack of talent, I believe it was just a matter of time.”

The first DVD was auctioned with the highest bidder paying $125.

The choir boasts some renowned artistes in its ranks in the form of Shingisai Suluma, Mono Mukundu and Caroline Mujokoro, among others.
