BULAWAYO, Aug. 20 (NewsDay Live)- The Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Development and Vocational Training has invited members of the public to attend the First Lady’s Doek and Zambia Drive scheduled for Friday at the Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre (ZIEC) in Bulawayo.

The event will be held in Hall 1 at the venue formerly known as the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF).

The ministry said the event was expected to bring people together in celebration, solidarity and unity, with a particular focus on youths, youth leaders, youth organisations and community groups.

“Youth and youth leaders, this is your call. Mobilise your peers, youth groups, clubs, associations and communities and be part of this landmark event,” the ministry said in an invitation.

Transport will be provided to ferry members of the public to and from the venue, with pick-up points and arrangements to be coordinated by the ministry in collaboration with other government ministries, departments and agencies.

Members of the public have also been encouraged to dress appropriately, with women invited to showcase creativity and cultural expression through Doek and Zambia outfits.
