BULAWAYO, 24, (NewsDay Live) - Three Highlanders Football Club executives and an unidentified woman died yesterday evening after their car hit a cow, and crashed into a CAG bus at the 50km peg along the Harare-Bulawayo Highway.

Bulawayo chief fire officer Mhlangano Moyo said the Highlanders officials were returning from a football match in Kariba where the team lost 1-0 to ZPC Kariba on Wednesday.

"They were travelling from Kariba along Harare Bulawayo road at a 50km peg, where the car they were travelling in hit a stray cow, darkish in colour, resulting in the driver losing control and hit the back of an on coming CAG bus," Moyo said.

"This resulted in them being hit by another oncoming car, leading to a pile up."

They were identified as chairman Col Ken Mhlophe, vice-chairman Sifiso Siziba and treasurer, Nkani Khoza, and an unidentified woman.
