Opposition activist Shakespeare Mukoyi
HARARE, Nov. 12 (NewsDay Live) – Opposition activist Shakespeare Mukoyi on Wednesday claimed to have reclaimed the Richard Morgan Tsvangirai House, popularly known as Harvest House.
Harvest House, for long the bastion of opposition politics, and headquarters of MDC, MDC-T, then MDC Alliance and Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC), was taken over by Douglas Mwonzora,with the help of heavily armed security forces from former CCC leader Nelson Chamisa at the height of fights in the movement.
On Wednesday, Mukoyi claimed to have ‘evicted’ Mwonzora from the building.
