A 50-year-old man from Tivhule village in Binga was on Wednesday slapped with an 18-month jail term for unlawful possession of 1kg unprocessed dagga.

The detectives received a tip-off that Sibanda was in possession of dangerous drugs near Ndlovu Primary School and recovered the dagga from a plastic bag in his possession.
The court suspended six months from his sentence on the condition of good behavior.
