THE Miss Heritage Zimbabwe 2026 grand finale, which will be held in Harare on March 28, promises to be a vibrant celebration of Zimbabwe’s culture, elegance and national pride.

Pageant coach and mentor Simbarashe Gwawawa said the event would showcase the country’s rich traditions and diversity, adding that the competition went beyond beauty to highlight heritage, purpose and community impact.

Preparations will begin with a bootcamp on March 26, starting at 2pm with the official sashing ceremony and opening cocktail. The bootcamp will help contestants to sharpen their confidence, cultural awareness and presentation skills ahead of the main event.

“The bootcamp will help participants to sharpen their confidence, cultural awareness and presentation skills ahead of the main event,” Gwawawa said.

He added that the pageant was designed to go beyond beauty, focusing on heritage, purpose and community impact.

"Contestants will be assessed in several categories including national or traditional wear, cultural talent, introductions, community service projects, evening dress as well as the question-and-answer segment, all of which highlight Zimbabwean identity and values,” Gwawawa said.

The winner of the pageant will represent Zimbabwe at the Heritage Pageants event in Thailand in November 2026, carrying the country’s cultural story to a global audience.

Gwawawa appealed to sponsors, partners and exhibitors to support the prestigious event, noting that their contribution is key to promoting cultural preservation. He also encouraged the public to attend what promises to be a night of talent, culture and national pride.
