Morline Shalom drops visuals for hit song

Gospel sensation Morline Shalom Kuwana has released the official music video for her hit song Gore Richitanga — Richipera Ndomutenda, adding a powerful visual layer to a track that has already become a nationwide anthem of faith and thanksgiving.

The multi-talented musician-cum-businesswoman fronts Morline Shalom and Shammah Music Group. A teacher by profession, she is also the founder and managing director of Platinum Home Incorporated (Pvt) Ltd, a design company that specialises in home interiors and exteriors, antique furniture and a clothing boutique.

The visuals, which debuted last week, serve as a heartfelt tribute to divine providence.

Announcing the release on social media, an elated Shalom shared her excitement with fans.

"The visual you all have been waiting for is finally out! A powerful song of gratitude, faith and thanksgiving to God," she said.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Mapthacreator, the video complements the song’s lyrical depth with vibrant, high-quality imagery that captures the essence of a soul steeped in gratitude. The production visually translates the song’s central theme — the journey from the beginning of the year to its end — into a compelling narrative of resilience, reflection and praise.

Gore Richitanga — Richipera Ndomutenda (From beginning to end, I thank Him) serves as a standout track from Shalom’s latest project. It is featured on her fifth studio album, The Very Best of Morline Shalom.

The release marks yet another milestone in her flourishing career. With five albums now under her belt, the musician has cemented her status as a consistent and influential voice on the Zimbabwean gospel music scene. The album serves both as a compilation of her spiritual journey and a showcase of her vocal and artistic maturity.

“I feel it is a purpose. That is what I was also born to do,” she said.

“I had the feeling from a tender age and from Grade 3 I joined choirs until I completed my tertiary education. I have been in almost all Christian choirs.”

Industry critics have praised her collaboration with Mapthacreator, noting that the director’s creative lens elevates the song’s message and broadens its appeal to both local and international audiences.

The video is available for streaming on YouTube and various digital platforms, where fans have begun flooding the comments section with testimonies of how the song has impacted their lives.

The gospel diva recorded her first album titled Mwari Utatu, which refers to the Holy Trinity, in 2010. The second album, Nyaya Yacho, was released a year later.

She went on to release her third album Mira (Be Still) in 2014, the fourth album Zvibvunze (2017) and the fifth —The Very Best of Sharlom — in 2022.
