Multi-award-winning singer, Sylvester Chizanga aka Freeman HKD has promised to set the stage ablaze at the Big Show at the Belgravia Sports Club next weekend.

The Big Show features Zimbabwe’s most celebrated youthful performers such as Nutty O, Baba Harare, Mary Anibal, Nisha Ts and Saintfloew.

Tickets to the Big Show Merriment can be bought from Zimtickets.com for fees ranging from US$10 to US$150.

On being part of the star-studded line-up

HKD: It’s an honor to be part of this line-up. It’s one recognition I won’t take for granted. And of course, performing for that kind of family-centered audience makes me feel truly honored and proud to share my music with them.

On preparations and performance surprises

HKD: I’m well prepared  taking each rehearsal seriously with my band. As for performance twists, definitely! My line-up will be full of songs from my recent album The Notebook, so people should expect a fresh and exciting set.

On new music and current projects.

HKD: I think the whole catalogue from my new album speaks for itself, and I trust the songs are doing well. I’m excited to showcase them live because the fans have been connecting with the music in a big way.

On what makes HKD sets unique

HKD: They should expect Freeman HKD and my sound. That signature style they know and love.
