RISING model and entrepreneur Christine Ngoshi (22) is using her growing platform in the world of pageantry to champion women’s empowerment and fight against gender-based violence in Zimbabwe.
Ngoshi, who is the founder of Supporting Abusive Free Environment (SAFE), said her mission is to give a voice to women and children affected by abuse.
“I grew up in a society where violence was the norm,” she said in an interview.
“Competing in pageants is not just about wearing the crown for me.
“It is about standing up for those who have been silenced and creating a better future.”
Ngoshi has already won several titles, including Miss Zambia Zimbabwe 2024, Miss Universal Woman Zimbabwe 2024 second runner-up, Miss Simba Bhora 2025 and Miss Elite Global Zimbabwe 2025, where she represented Zimbabwe in India and earned the Miss Congeniality title.
She is now preparing to compete in the first-ever Miss Petite Global Zimbabwe, scheduled for January 10, 2026, in Harare.
“Being selected to compete in this historic event is such an honour,” she said.

“But my goal is bigger than the crown.
“Miss Petite Global is a platform for my voice to be heard, especially in the fight against gender-based violence and child marriages.”
Beyond the stage, Ngoshi has been active in philanthropy.
Recently, she donated blankets, mosquito nets and bedding to children at Jairos Jiri Association.
On September 27, 2025, she is set to visit I Am Mbare, where she will donate food and clothing to children and women affected by early child marriages.
“I have the less privileged at heart,” she said.
“When I give, I give not because I have too much, but because I know every child deserves warmth, dignity, and love.”
Ngoshi also called on Zimbabweans to join her cause.
“This is not a fight I can win alone,” she said.
“SAFE is about community.
“Anyone who is willing to stand with us is welcome, because together we can create a better Zimbabwe.”
As she steps onto the Miss Petite Global stage in January, Ngoshi says her biggest crown will not be the one on her head, but the change she helps inspire in society.
