THE Information and Media Panel of Inquiry (IMPI) nationwide tour attracted some interesting views from the public.

The IMPI outreach programmes involve public meetings, interviews and general discussions with media and information stakeholders and members of the public on various issues concerning the media.
IMPI comprises of 28 members including several senior journalists and experts from other professions.
The inquiry was launched last year by the Ministry of Information, Media and Broadcasting Services to assess the state of the information and media industry in Zimbabwe.
It is set to promote and elevate the standards of media practice in Zimbabwe as well as looking into the challenges affecting media operations.
