HARARE: Stodart Hall Chipaz Promotions tomorrow host Dancehall Fiesta Part 8 at Stodart Hall in Mbare.

HARARE: Stodart Hall Chipaz Promotions tomorrow host Dancehall Fiesta Part 8 at Stodart Hall in Mbare. An array of upcoming and renowned dancehall chanters like Dadza D, Lady Squanda, Killer T, Kinnah, Sniper Storm and T Makwikwi, among others, will serenade dancehall enthusiasts at the venue.

Wheel spinners Gary B, Templeman and Silver Stone will be on the turntables.

7 Arts Theatre in Avondale

South African songstress Zahara and an array of local musicians who include Willis Wataffi will tonight perform at 7 Arts Theatre at the second edition of the Green Concert. The concert, which serves as an environmental awareness campaign through music, dance and song, will be held under the theme Remembering Tokwe-Mukorsi — One Environmental Family.

Big Apple

Local dancehall and reggae chanters tonight converge at Big Apple corner Nelson Mandela Avenue and Mbuya Nehanda Street for a gig to commemorate the life of the late reggae legend Bob Marley. Dubbed Bob Marley Commemoration, Dancehall Night, the line-up of performers includes Soul Jah Love, Killer T, Kinnah, Shinsoman, Guspy Warrior, Cello Culture, Junior Spice and Sniper Storm, among others.

Borrowdale Racecourse

Tomorrow veteran Afro-jazz musician Bob Nyabinde, contemporary musician Jah Prayzah, Mbare-bred dancehall chanter Killer T and MMT among others will share stage at the annual Castle Tankard Concert slated for Borrowdale Racecourse. DJ Phatchild will rock it on the turntables.

Nyaguwa Beer Gardens

The joint in Dzivaresekwa will tomorrow host dancehall artistes like Princo Spice, Confused, Toky Vibes, Fire Warrior, Mbada Kid and Flinky B among others. On the decks will be Dollagettaz and Cashlibs.

Mhangura Country Club

Rising sungura artiste Romeo Gasa performs at Mhangura Country Club tonight. Tomorrow he performs at Marandure Bottle Sore in Mt Hampden.

Club Changaz in Centenary

Zora musician Leonard Zhakata travels to Mashonaland Central tonight for a performance at Club Changaz in Centenary. He will be back in the capital tomorrow with a performance at Garden Party Nite Club in Norton.

Ritz Nite Club, Masvingo

Peter “Igwe” Moyo and Utakataka Express tonight perform at Ritz Nite Club. Tomorrow they perform at a private function in Chiredzi.

Glendale Community Hall

Glendale Community Hall tonight hosts contemporary musician Jah Prayzah and his Third Generation Band supported by Potipher Mopo, who is the eldest son of retired musician Mike Mopo of Nherera Ndimambo fame. Mopo is doing well on the showbiz scene after taking over his father’s Zinawa Band.
