The show, which will be staged at the Odyssey Bar and Grill on August 7, will be Mare’s maiden Kadoma show.

Show organiser Kudzai Matongo — popularly known as Dee Nosh in the entertainment circles — said preparations were at an advanced stage.

“All is in place and we are set to bring the best show to Kadoma this year, this is a must-attend show which will cater for all groups and classes,” Dee Nosh said.

He said although Tuku and Sulu were not new to Kadoma, Mare would be making her debut appearance in the town.

“Tuku and Sulu have performed before in Kadoma and fans know what they are capable of. Cynthia is gracing Kadoma for the first time and we promise nothing, but fireworks from the diva,” Dee Nosh said.

The Zuva Rimwe hit maker is expected to put up a scintillating performance that will make Kadoma fans fall in love with her to ensure a possible return.

Joe Nyamungoma, Sulu’s publicist, concurred that this was a not-to-miss show which is expected to draw people from as far as Harare as well as other towns close to Kadoma.

“This is a must-attend show if you are in or around Kadoma, the Captain, Sulu, is coming in full force alongside the legendary superstar (Tuku). Kadoma is the place to be this Heroes holiday,” he said.

The Odyssey Bar and Grill has hosted many high-profile gigs this year. Recently the joint was graced by urban grooves artistes Roki, Leonard Mapfumo, Mafriq and Ba Shupi.
