ZTA begins registration of private homes for 2026 Sanganai/Hlanganani Expo
The Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) has begun registering private homes to host delegates and visitors during this year's Sanganai/Hlanganani–Dzimbahwe World Tourism Expo, as preparations for the country's premier tourism showcase gather momentum.
This year's tourism expo to run from September 9 to 12 in Masvingo, is expected to provide the province with an opportunity to showcase its rich heritage tourism attractions, particularly the iconic Great Zimbabwe Monuments, to the world.
In a public notice, ZTA invited homeowners interested in offering accommodation during the four-day event to register their properties for inclusion on the official accommodation database that will be shared with delegates and visitors.
"Private homeowners who are interested in availing their homes for accommodation provision during the Sanganai/Hlanganani–Dzimbahwe World Tourism Expo to be held from September 9 to 12, 2026, are hereby invited to register with the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority," the authority said.
ZTA said registration would enable approved properties to be listed among the official accommodation options available to visitors attending the expo.
The tourism authority said all registered homes would undergo inspections to ensure they meet minimum standards required to host both local and foreign business travellers.
Participating homeowners will be required to pay registration and temporary licensing fee of US$50.
