BULAWAYO, MAY 27 (Newsday Live)-Police have arrested two men linked to a series of motorcycle thefts and break-ins in Chegutu.
Recovering six stolen motorcycles and a solar battery.
National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi identified the suspects as Andy Ushewokunze and Titus Manjengwa, both linked to ten cases of motorcycle theft and break-ins reported between January and May 20 this year.
“On 21st May 2026, police arrested Titus Manjengwa after receiving information that he was in possession of stolen motorcycles,” Nyathi said.
“Manjengwa implicated Ushewokunze, leading to his arrest at Mukohwe Shopping Centre, Pfupajena.”

Following the arrests, police recovered six stolen motorcycles and a solar battery.
Police said the suspects were linked to at least 10 cases of motorcycle theft and one case of unlawful entry and theft at a house in Kaguvi Phase Four, Chegutu, where a solar battery and television set were stolen last week.
Police are appealing for information on two outstanding suspects, Tapiwa Ushewokunze and Last Masarakufa, believed to be accomplices in the crimes.
