Tongai “Dhewa” Moyo of Naye fame is billed to light up Esigodini when he performs at Jubula Inn, this Sunday evening.

Jabula Inn has become the hub of entertainment in Matabeleland South Province with a number of iconic musicians performing at the nightspot over the past months.

Two weeks ago, another sungura music icon, Alick Macheso, graced the spot leaving patrons yearning for another show.

Dhewa is a singer, songwriter and choreographer.a Jabula Inn spokesperson, Mduduzi Ndandula confirmed on Monday that everything was ready for the show.

“All is set for Sunday. We have struck an agreement with Moyo. We are done with all preparations,” he said.

Dhewa last performed at Jabula Inn in December last year in a joint gig with Macheso.

“They staged a massive joint performance last year and we are looking forward to Dhewa this time around,” said Ndandula.

Former John Chibadura band member Rodrick Chemudara will be the opening act on Sunday.

He now has his own songs from the same genre as that of his late great mentor, Chibadura, of Rudo Runokosha fame.
