The Coca-Cola Pimped Up Ride promotion rolled into Bulawayo on Wednesday and hundreds of people thronged the City Hall car park to witness the launch.
A total of eight cars stand to be won in the promotion that was launched in Harare last week.
Coca-Cola southern region manager Cynthia Malaba called on people in Bulawayo to enter the competition that requires one to buy any six Delta Beverages soft drinks to qualify- so that they could win.
“Enter the promotion. Who knows, when the promotion ends on January 8 next year, you could win yourself one of the cars,” she said.
Some of the people who attended the launch managed to win Coca-Cola T-shirts as well as drinks.
There were dancing competitions. Bulawayo-based theatre arts group Hloseni entertained the audience playing marimba.
The promotion is also open to shop owners who sell Coca- Cola.
“We have set aside two cars for businesspeople, so feel free to enter the promotion as well,” Malaba said. The launch kicked off with a procession that started in Mzilikazi suburb to the City Hall amid loud music and dancing from the Coca-Cola mobile entertainment team.
