ZIMBABWE’S leading women in business, technology, finance and social enterprise are set to converge in Harare for the Lift Me Up Women’s Conference, an initiative positioning empowerment as both strategy and shared responsibility.
Scheduled for March 12 at The Venue in Avondale, the conference will run under the theme Give to Gain — Empowering the Future-Proof Woman, aligning with International Women’s Day commemorations, which shall be held a few days earlier.
Organised under the stewardship of Alpha Media Holdings, the event promises practical insights and forward-looking strategies aimed at equipping women to thrive in a rapidly evolving economic landscape.
Marketing lead Olga Muteiwa said the conference was curated to deliver measurable value to delegates across sectors.
She confirmed a diverse line-up of speakers drawn from telecommunications, finance, property, energy, conservation, technology and entrepreneurship.
Among the headline speakers, Gloria Ndoro-Mkombachoto of NetOne will present Connectivity as a Catalyst: Future-Proofing Women-Led Businesses through Digital Transformation, focusing on how digital access can unlock enterprise growth.
Ethel Mupambwa of Money-Mart Finance Group is expected to address financial resilience under the topic Future-Proofing the Bottom Line: Resilience and Strategic Growth, highlighting sustainability in volatile markets.
Award-winning gospel musician Janet Manyowa will deliver Harmony in Purpose: Building a Legacy Beyond the Spotlight, offering perspective on brand longevity and value-driven leadership.
