SHOWMAX, is now streaming The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip — South Africa with new episodes every Monday for the next eight weeks.

The platform is an African streaming service that is jointly-owned by MultiChoice, the producer of content in Africa and Comcast, one of the world’s biggest media companies.

The production features eight of South Africa’s most memorable and iconic housewives from five franchises namely Beverly Steyn (The Real Housewives of Cape Town S1); Christall Kay (The Real Housewives of Johannesburg S1-2); LaConco (The Real Housewives of Durban S1-2); Lethabo Lejoy Mathatho (The Real Housewives of Johannesburg S2-3); Liz Prins (The Real Housewives of Gqeberha S1); Londie London (The Real Housewives of Durban S2); Melany Viljoen (The Real Housewives of Pretoria S1); and Nonku Williams (The Real Housewives of Durban S1-4,).

In reflecting on why she has decided to come back to reality television, London said she felt like once one has been in the reality television space, it was something they could not get away from.

“I came back to reality television because I love this concept that highlights the leading ladies of the Housewives franchise and I wanted to be a part of it,” she said.

Speaking on what she will bring to The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip — South Africa that is different from her time on The Real Housewives of Durban, London said people would see a different side of her apart from being a housewife and a mom. “On The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip — South Africa, I am on a girls’ trip and you know anything goes. Audiences are going to see me having fun and bonding with the ladies,” London said.

While over the years, a lot has been said about London’s private life, she said a lot of things would be addressed.

“You know the ladies love to poke, so definitely, there will be a lot of things that will be addressed. That is the point of being on the show, you get to tell your story and clear a few things in your own words,” she said.

She acknowledged that there are some things she does not like to talk about such as failed relationships and other people.

London revealed that on the show, she was surprised most about the blondes as they had so much drama.

“There was always something brewing. More than anything, I was shocked at the things that were revealed. I was also pleasantly surprised with Christall. She and I grew close during filming and I enjoyed spending time with her; she is very cool,” she reckoned.

The actress accepted that when she left Jamaica, she was not in a good place with everyone.

“When I left the island, I had some unresolved issues with Nonku. It left a bitter taste in my mouth. I did not want it to get that far because I understand that this is a show, but I wish it could have ended differently,” she said.

“It was not nice. I was disappointed in her because I did not expect her to poke as hard as she did; she just kept getting into my personal business.” She said people should watch The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip — South Africa because the show featured eight ladies with very big personalities who were far from home.
