BY TERRY MADYAUTA The FC Platinum trio of Donald Ngoma, William Stima and Raphael Muduviwa remains sidelined due to injuries ahead of the Chibuku Super Cup quarter-finals this weekend.

None of the three players featured during the group stages of this tournament as they were nursing injuries.

And they remain on the treatment bed amid fears that they could miss the opening fixtures of the Premier Soccer League if it commences next month as scheduled.

Club spokesperson Chido Chizondo said: “So far, those are the only unavailable players, but the core of the team is available for the upcoming fixtures.”

However, coach Norman Mapeza will find solace in the fact that he has a number of options in his ranks.

The platinum miners take on Highlanders at Baobab Stadium in Ngezi on Saturday with the hope of leaping into the semi-finals.

All the four quarter-finals will be played in Mhondoro-Ngezi on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
