The app offers seamless integration across all accounts and gives customers the ability to bank, invest, and insure.

BancABC Zimbabwe managing director Lance Mambondiani said the release of the A360 Mobile App to the market was part of the digitisation process by the institution.

“The app will provide a bank in the pocket of all our customers, allowing them to do their banking transactions Anytime, Anywhere. Today marks a milestone in our digital transformation drive & I would like to thank all the teams who have worked tirelessly to bring this innovation to our valued customers” Mambondiani said.

Customers can access digital banking services such as zipit and also offers the convenience of bill payments and account management.

“One of the exciting new innovative features in the App named “YAPE” offers customers the ability to scan a QR code at selected outlets to pay for goods and services. This seamless and instant payment solution was rolled out today at all Chicken Hut branches across the country,” he said.

Head of strategy and innovation and new products, Patricia Mugabe said the app positions the bank as a leader in digital banking.

“The A360 Mobile App is a key pillar from which many of our other innovations will be launched through” During the virtual launch event, Patricia Mugabe unveiled a game changing service called “Mwaya” that gives customers the ability to send money to anyone, regardless of if they have a bank account or mobile money wallet,” Mugabe said.

Any Zimbabwean resident can now open a bank account without having to visit the branch.
