MDC-T leader Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai this afternoon wound up his campaign trail after addressing an estimated 50 000 people at a rally held in Harare at an open space near the Harare Exhibition Park in the outskirts of the capital city.
NewsDay presents, in multimedia, the proceedings at the gathering dubbed ‘the cross-over’ rally.

After the rally, thousands of MDC-T supporters – dressed in the party’s regalia -marched into the city centre via Robert Mugabe way singing and sloganeering, causing a traffic jam.
The marchers ‘literally’ closed the road to traffic as the procession stretched from Julius Nyerere Way to Rotten Row Street.
Business came to a halt in the shops close to Robert Mugabe Way for more than 30 minutes as bystanders and shop attendants watched from the pavements.
