Faheem, who was struggling to release his debut album since 2009, is currently recording at Diamond Studios with the help of his father.
“My son is a great musician who is even better than me. I did my part as a father who wants the best for his son by providing funds and I am happy that he finished recording on Sunday and the album will be ready very soon.
“I believe his debut album will do well on the music scene and will go a long way in reviving penga music,” he said.
Faheem said he was very happy to realise his dreams.
The album, Ndezvedzinza, carries songs that include Huya Kumba, Kuona Vobudirira, Kushungurudza Vana, Samatenga and Madarireiko. Daiton and Faheem were at loggerheads which saw the Tsaona hitmaker disowning his family.
The feud between the two hogged the limelight two years ago after Daiton accused his son of bedding his Marondera wife Annah Kezias, among other allegations.

The feud between the two worsened when Daiton applied for an eviction order against his family at the Marondera Civil Court. This saw Faheem leaving the family house for his own apartment in Rusike suburb, Marondera.
The feud was sparked by a police report made by Daiton at Dombotombo Police Station accusing his son of stealing commuter omnibus seat covers, four cellphones and a guitar, among other goods.
The case was, however, dismissed due to lack of evidence and the two started trading various accusations until Daiton kicked his son out of his house.
The friction saw the two pursuing music separately until the recent resolution to reunite.
