The Player of the Year award will see two HSC players battling it out for the top award, with club skipper Daniel Hondo being favourite to clinch the top award, after leading the club to this year’s national league title.

Stephen Hunduza, having been nominated for three awards, is likely to be in better position to scoop the top accolade.

He was dropped from the squad that travelled to Namibia on Wednesday, to give young players a chance and to receive the award tonight.

Simba Chirimuuta and Hunduza from HSC will vie for the Rookie of the Year award together with Old Hararians’ Tariro Mashongamhende.
