Former Zimbabwe international Luke Jukulile Petros has been fired by Central Region Division One Tripple B owned by Colcom Holdings.
The Warriors and Kaizer Chiefs striker signed a two-year contract with the Central side in January but was forced out after serving for five months.
Petros becomes the third coach to be fired in the Central Region after Patson Ndabambi was sacked for poor results at Chrome Stars.
Saidi Sosala was also shown the door at FC Glow. However, Petros was served with a dismissal letter last week after his charges hammered Rutendo Stars 9-0.
He had turned Beitbridge- based Tripple B into serious championship contenders as he took them to the apex of the log table with the 9-0 win.
After two matches, Tripple B shot straight to the top of the table after winning both of their opening matches.
In a letter of dismissal in possession of NewsDay signed by club president E Kanyangu, Petros was fired for the following reasons:
“1.You have been resigning several times verbally and in writing prior to your technical superiors, so the executive does not know your commitment to the club and us as executive, we believe that we are sitting on a time bomb and we are not prepared to take a risk.
