ACCREDITATION of delegates to the Second All-Stakeholders’ Conference on the draft governance charter has been set for this weekend at all provincial capitals with the actual conference set to be held in Harare between October 21-23.

At least 1 100 delegates are scheduled to attend the conference, among them 246 political party representatives, 284 MPs and 571 civil society groups representatives.
According to a schedule seen by NewsDay on Tuesday, the accreditation process would be supervised by two Copac management committee members in each province.
In Harare, the accreditation is scheduled to take place at Copac Milton Park offices and Mhlanhlandlela government complex conference room in Bulawayo.
In Matabeleland South delegates are expected to be accredited at the Gwanda government complex, Matabeleland North (district administrator’s offices in Lupane), Masvingo (Benjamini Burombo Building), Manicaland (government complex) and in Mashonaland East, Mbuya Nehanda Hall, Marondera.
Delegates in Mashonaland East were expected to gather in Chinhoyi Public Service Training Centre, Midlands Provincial Administrator’s Office and Kuvaka House, Bindura, Mashonaland Central.
The conference will give delegates drawn from political parties and civic society an opportunity to scrutinise the Copac draft constitution and make recommendations.
