The court heard that the incident happened in Zengeza 4 on October 30 this year.
Tafura, who is of no fixed abode, was jailed on his own plea of guilty when he appeared before Chitungwiza regional magistrate Estere Chivasa.
Chivasa heard that on the fateful evening, the complainant, a 34-year-old woman from Hatfield, was walking along Tilco Road in Zengeza 4 towards her mother’s residence.
Suddenly three male adults approached from behind, demanded her phone and bag.
Tafura and her alleged accomplices who are still at large hit the woman with an unidentified object and she collapsed.
When the complainant regained consciousness, she discovered that she was lying in the midst of a bush with all her undergarments removed while the suspects were pouring water on her.
