The Madhawu singer is expected to leave for Mzansi next week on Wednesday where he will stage two shows in Johannesburg on September 19 and Cap Town the following day.
Macheso starts his weekend gigs tomorrow with a show at Big Apple Club located at the corner of Mbuya Nehanda Street and Nelson Mandela Avenue in Harare.
“We have organised this Macheso show for our patrons to bid farewell to their star as he prepares to leave for South Africa,” Big Apple Club manager Nyasha Dope said.
“As usual, we have tight security to take care of the cars of our patrons outside while inside we guarantee safety to those who are going to come for the show.”
After the Big Apple show, on Saturday Orchestra Mberikwazvo travel to Kadoma for a show at Coloursell Night Club before rounding off at Mega 1 with a family show on Sunday.
The band’s assistant manager Jatiel Machanja said Mzansi fans should look forward to memorable shows.

“We are going for two shows in South Africa and our fans are assured of sterling performances from Orchestra Mberikwazvo as usual,” Machanja said.
“The fans will still have the feel of our new songs on the forthcoming album, but not to full length.”
Macheso is no stranger to South Africa, which is proving to be also the second home for many local artistes who are stampeding to stage shows in that country.
