THE establishment of an elite learning centre, Kids Are Kids Infant School in Dema, Seke district, has brought hope to urban dwellers and diasporans who desire quality education.
The school, located along the Harare-Wedza Road near Dema Growth Point, boasts modern learning infrastructure and offers quality education facilities, thereby changing the face of the Dema rural.
Seke district is fast turning into an urban area as denoted by the growth of residential areas and ballooning population.
Of late, diasporans have been investing in the area through constructing mansions and establishing industries.
Kids Are Kids Group of Schools director Laurreta Wanyanya, affectionately known as Auntie Lolo, said the influx of homeseekers in Seke has seen a number of parents and guardians hunting for quality education for their children.
“Since we established this school in rural Dema, we have been overwhelmed by the number of learners joining us,” she said.
“This is because Seke is fast growing and those relocating here and diasporans, who are seeking quality education, have been approaching us.
“Our enrolment is refreshing and this has also been fuelled by our 100% pass rate.”
