HARARE, Jan. 9 (NewsDay Live) – The Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (Zimsec) 2025 Advanced Level examination results will be officially released at 12 noon today, Primary and Secondary Education Minister Torerayi Moyo has announced.
In a statement posted on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Moyo said this marks the third consecutive year in which national examinations have been conducted without leakages.
He described the development as a “remarkable achievement” that reflects the ministry’s firm commitment to safeguarding the integrity and credibility of Zimbabwe’s examination system. The announcement comes amid heightened public anticipation from candidates, parents, and schools awaiting the outcome of the 2025 examination cycle.
“This is a remarkable achievement that underscores the Ministry’s unwavering commitment to upholding the integrity and credibility of our examination systems,” Moyo said.
Zimbabwe has, in previous years, grappled with examination leakages that undermined public confidence in the national assessment process.
“I wish to extend my heartfelt appreciation to ZIMSEC, our committed educators, and all stakeholders who have worked tirelessly to ensure a transparent, fair, and efficient examination process,” he said.
Last year, the national A-Level pass rate stood at 94.58%.
