Mnangagwa to open Parliament session at new Parliament building

MNANGAGWA

PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa is set to open the Fifth Session of the Ninth Parliament at the new Parliament building in Mt Hampden on Wednesday. In a statement, Clerk of Parliament Kennedy Chokuda said Mnangagwa will also present his State of the nation address.

"Parliament of Zimbabwe would like to advise the nation, all clients and stakeholders of the State of the Nation Address and the Official Opening of the 5th Session of the Ninth Parliament by His Excellency..at the New Parliament Building in Mt Hampden, Harare."

"This is a historic and momentous occasion where the last session of Parliament will be officially, opened, before the next general elections."The fourth Session was adjourned on November 3.

Chokuda said Finance minister Mthuli Ncube will present the 2023 national budget at the new Parliament building on November 24.
