Zambian Night and Old Skool Music

All Zambians and those that have lived there are being invited for a “Zambian Night” and old skool music on Saturday evening at 226 Carrick Creagh Road, off Crowhill Road, Greystone Park from 5pm. There will be a cash bar and catering.

Megga 1 (Pamahuswa)

Magesh dance group from Bulawayo will take to the stage on Friday night at one of Harare’s largest open-air joints. Saturday, Morgan and Tendai Dembo will take over. The New Generations dance group will showcase their dancing skills on Sunday afternoon.

Megga 2

There will be a Friday all-nite dance session with music provided by DJs Chante and DJ Turntables. Saturday, Gudo and the Explosions will be live on stage followed by an all-day house music party and braai on Sunday.

Book Café

Mokoomba from Victoria Falls will be live at the Book Café on Saturday. They will present a unique, electrifying blend of afro-fusion and tantalizing traditional Tonga rhythms.

Portugal Restaurant (Pensao)

For a “Party-crazy Friday”, check out the Pensao along Samora Machel Avenue (corner Eighth Street).

DJs Slow & Flak will be spinning the discs, playing a versatile mix in the garden all night long. Be a part of it!

Rockball

Rockball which is located along Harare Drive will present the “A -List Party of the Year” featuring DJs Carter, Fingerz and Smoove will be dropping revelers’ favourite club anthems. They will be supported by MCs Da Boi Payne and Breezy. DJ Smoove is also expected to shoot his new video at Rockball.

Milton Park Bowling Club

Urban Ent will this weekend present “Defined Backtracking” old skool music from the 80s. Harare’s finest DJ’s Limoluv and Knally will be on the decks.

Liquid Lounge

DJ Robie Tee will Friday night present a “Friday Xperience” where he will be playing old skool jams. Saturday, there will be old skool classics again.

East 24 ] Huggiez Entertainment will this weekend present old skool music with resident DJ Kudzi Marudza.

Eddy’s Kite (Chegutu)

Eddy’s Kite Niteclub in Chegutu will host a comedy night featuring Kireni Zulu, Marabi Kings and Queens on Saturday evening. Sunday will be a jazz day with DJ Abs on the decks.

BULAWAYO — JZ Ebunandini

Kwekwe-based sungura star, Tongai Moyo comes to Bulawayo for the first time this year. Dhewa, as the musician is affectionately known, will share the stage with brothers Daiton and Josphat Somanje Friday night at the bar which is located in the city.

It promises to be an exciting show since it will also be the Somanjes’ first time to perform here after their recent reunion. Dhewa has wowed fans in his recent shows and he is expected to continue with his crusade Friday night.

Jabulani Inn (Esigodini)

Soul Birds Band take to the stage tonight backed by Harare-based award-winning dance group Crazy Boys. On Saturday evening, catch the rhumba outfit Vibe Stars Musica doing what they know best at the same venue starting at 8pm.

Sports 747

On Saturday, Mellow T will be playing a mixed bag of music starting at 3pm. It is dubbed the “Open-Air Show”. He will also feature DJ Makhosi.

The Basement

Located at the Rainbow Hotel in Bulawayo, The Basement hosts “The Meltdown Show” Friday night featuring DJs Nash, Ericado and Admire. On Saturday it’s “The Big Three Clash” featuring the same DJ line-up.

Maunga Sports Bar

Situated in Emakhandeni suburb, there is the “House Explosion” tonight starting at 6pm. The same theme continues on Saturday featuring DJs Lacusto and Cally-Dee. Sunday it’s the “Chill- Out Jazz” show the whole day.
