Internationally-acclaimed Zimbabwean musician Godfrey Chirau, popularly known as Mwendamberi in the entertainment circles, is amongst Africa’s celebrated youthful talent selected to perform at the reputable ACCES 2025 which will take place across three venues in Tshwane, South Africa.  

The Aula Theatre at the University of Pretoria will host conferences on October 30 and 31, while the festival performances will be held at Propaganda Pretoria on October 30, and at 012 Central on November 1. 

Mwendamberi will be part of more than 20 African artistes who include  Focalistic, Claudio Rabe, Zoë Modiga, Mörda, Bokani Dyer, Mpho Sebina, Fimfim, Naledi Aphiwe, Thakzin and Shandesh, among others. 

The Acces Music Conference & Showcase Festival is a premier pan-African platform where music industry players connect, share knowledge, showcase and discover new talent. 

ACCES serves as a catalyst for growth, placing a significant emphasis on professionalising the sector and facilitating access to key success drivers, particularly for emerging musicians and industry professionals. 

Since its launch in 2017, ACCES has brought together thousands of industry players in cities such as Dakar (2017), Nairobi (2018), Accra (2019), Johannesburg (2021), and Dar es Salaam (2022 and 2023) and Kigali (2024). 

It will be the second time for Mzansi to host the Music in Africa initiated festival Acces2025.
