Zhakata told NewsDay yesterday that he has decided to give back to the community by engaging these organisations for a clean-up campaign.
“I went to EMA and the city council so that my team, fans and these organisations work on a clean-up campaign and we got the green light to do that,” he said.
The Mugove hit-maker said they (the city council) would provide transport for the garbage and gloves for all participants.
He said his fans, business premises owners and all people who might be interested are free to join.
“We have approached the businesspeople at Machipisa and I hope the response will be positive,” he said.
For the three hours they will be at the shopping centre in the afternoon, the musician is confident that they will have delievered their message to Highfield residents.
