BY TERRY MADYAUTA Former Barcelona star, who is the Cameroon Football Association (FECAFOOT) President Samuel Eto’o, has come to the rescue of Warriors super fan Alvin ‘Aluvah’ Zhakata who is currently detained in hospital in the West African nation having collapsed after the Afcon round of 16 match between Malawi and Morocco on Wednesday last week. According to a latest update from Zhakata, on his social media pages, the legendary footballer paid all the medical bills that had accumulated since his admission at a hospital in Cameroon’s capital, Yaounde. When he regained consciousness, the famed football fanatic revealed that he had been diagnosed with heart complications. And while issues to do with his medical bills had remained a sticking issue after Caf declined to assist, Eto’o has chipped in to assist. Thrilled by the gesture, Aluvah took to twitter to express gratitude. “The president of Fecafoot (Cameroon Football Association), Mr Samuel Etoo Fils, has paid my hospital bills , and footed all costs for medical tests and everything. How can I not be grateful. How can i not heal,” he said.
