ORGANISERS of Intwasa Arts Festival have said they are looking for dance productions to record for this year’s 15th edition of the fête scheduled to run virtually from September 21 to 25.

The festival is an annual platform that celebrates the diversity of human cultures and creativity in disciplines like music, spoken word, theatre, dance, literary arts, fashion and crafts.

In an interview with NewsDay Life & Style yesterday, the festival director Raisedon Baya said interested artists should submit their production synopsis to [email protected].

“We are looking for dance productions for our virtual edition of the festival. We will record the productions. This is not limited and anyone can submit their production synopsis to us,” he said.

Recently, Intwasa Arts Festival called for the festival’s new digital content in music, theatre, dance, comedy, short film, music videos and poetry.

Speaking on the festival’s preparations, Baya said: “We are collecting and programming. We were hoping to do a hybrid, but it looks like we may have just a virtual edition.”
