Bulawayo Chiefs announce Nekati signing

The Warriors right full-back joins the Chiefs from Chicken, becoming the second player to leave the Gamecocks after Tafadzwa Kutinyu who left for Tanzanian second-tier club, Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) FC.

By Terry Madyauta Bulawayo Chiefs have announced the signing of defense stalwart Ian Nekati from their cross-town rivals Chicken Inn.

The Warriors right full-back joins the Chiefs from Chicken, becoming the second player to leave the Gamecocks after Tafadzwa Kutinyu who left for Tanzanian second-tier club, Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) FC.

Kutinyu however left the club with kicking the ball while Nekati leaves after  spending one season with them.

The 31-year-old was roped in together with midfielder Mandlenkosi Gasela, coming in from Talen Vision.

“Meet the #NewNinjas , Ian Nekati and Mandlenkosi Gasela.

“Nekati comes in to cement our defense while Mandla will add more power to our midfield.

“Ian joins us from Chicken Inn and Gasela arrived from Talen vision. Now we wait for the Game’s,” Chiefs announced on their Facebook.
